Mwangi Kiunjuri, a member of parliament representing Laikipia East, has vehemently defended President William Ruto over the state of the economy while launching salvos at ODM leader Raila Odinga and the opposition for criticizing the current government too soon after only three months in office.
Raila Odinga, who the tough-talking MP claims were present while the economy was collapsing, is now the target of his anger.
"Those who complain that the government is ineffective were also responsible for the collapse of the economy," Mwangi stated.

He urged Kenyans to exercise patience while claiming that the prior regime was to blame for the high cost of fuel.
"Be patient with us. Rome certainly wasn't constructed in a day. We are building a foundation, and we are confident that this structure will provide shelter for all of us." stated Mwangi Kiunjuri.
