Latest provisional presidential results verified by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commision shows the Number of votes that deputy president Dr William Ruto and the opposition chief Raila Odinga got from Mogotio constituency in Baringo county in the ongoing voter verification at Bomas of Kenya in Nairobi county.
Mogotio constituency is in Baringo county in the larger Rift Valley region a region perceived as William Ruto's stronghold and therefore expected to perform well more than his closest competitor the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya alliance coalition presidential candidate Raila Odinga.
And according to the latest results, deputy president Dr William Ruto commands the majority of votes in the region as the results shows that he is leading with a huge margin in Mogotio constituency in Baringo county.
This comes after the United Democratic Alliance party presidential candidate William Ruto garnered total of 30,824 votes while his closest competitor the opposition chief Raila Odinga comes second with 982 votes while Geroge Wajackoya third with 49 votes and Measure fourth with 34 votes.
