Things seem to be getting hotter in Mathira where it has emerged that Rigathi Gachagua is called him at night reminding him it's time to pay him for supporting Azimio. The worried Sub-chief said that Rigathi Gachagua called him at night and told him that it's time to pay for betraying him and inciting people to vote for Azimio. Speaking about details of the phonecall that he made to the Deputy President, he revealed this;
“When I finally picked the call, it was a familiar voice of his Excellency the deputy president. He started by informing me that he had information that I was among those who were supporting Azimio during the elections. The call was short, and he ended by asking me how many years are left before I retire…” the Sub-chief said.
This is something that literally scared him for a moment and he wondered how to go about this.
“He informed me that in the meantime, I should be looking for something else to do because I will be going home. I could not start arguing with such a senior person. However, I tried to explain myself, but he could hear none of it” he added.
This sends a clear message that Rigathi Gachagua is already paying back those who opposed them.
