Here is What DP Ruto and President Uhuru Kenyatta Did After the Long Speech in Parliament (Photos)

After the much anticipated State of the Nation address, the Head of State president Uhuru Kenyatta got a chance to get entertained.

Several dancers had been organised to have the Head of State get entertained after having delivered his last State of the Nation address in parliament.

He was also joined by the deputy president William Ruto who had received him earlier in parliament buildings for the noble function which has become a custom in the country.

Others were Senate Majority leader Samuel Poghisio, deputy speakers Margaret Kamar, Moses Cheboi, Nairobi Governor Anne Kananu and NMS boss Mohammed Badi.

During his speech, the Head of State noted that personal ambitions were placed aside for the good of Kenya and for the enduring benefit of generations of Kenyans yet unborn. That selfless service, that sacrifice, led to the people of Kenya bestowing on me the high honour and extreme privilege of serving them as President, come 2013.

"For the trust and faith that the Great People of Kenya placed in me, I am and will forever be, most grateful and eternally humbled."President Uhuru Kenyatta.
