Kuria has also said that he won't run for Gatundu South member of Parliament seat. This is because he is busy building his political party, Chama Cha kazi. He says that he cannot break his party as it really took him much time and energy forming it.
In an interview with Ken Mijungu of KTN, Kuria has said that Kikuyus should not be used as SI unit of anything that people talk about. This is after Ken mentioned to him about a popular say that, You cannot buy a Kikuyu." In a response, he also asked, who can be bought? Can you buy a maasai?
Kuria has also added that he is in good terms with the deputy president, William Ruto.
