Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga on Facebook condemns what happened in the by elections in Bonchari and Juja. According to him, that's an abuse of police powers and an arrogant display of impunity by a few overzealous and bellicose government functionaries.
Raila Added that,an election process is an opportunity for the kenyans to express their will at the ballot box and not an avenue to to pursue imaginary and short legged political interests.
Raila reminded security force that they are supposed to serve the people and not the interests of those out to conduct political experiments.
He added that their handshake with uhuru should not be taken for granted.This is what he posted on Facebook,
A fan replied saying,"Now this is the real Raila Odinga that we know,Raila baba we are enjoying the fruits of your fight for Liberation and Kenyatta better be reminded that we are not his slaves.Kenya is not a POLICE STATE."
Another fan replied saying,"You should be the last one to complain as your cows have been celebrating when police meted violence on other political players in other by-elections. It shows how empty your calls for level playing ground are. Lastly, you are not genuine, wise, and enigmatic as you were and you have lost my sympathy."
Another fan replied saying,"How will the few upper seats in the BBI prevent such instances on the ground? It is not only presidential results that creates disruption but even MCA seats. "
