Ruto's personal assistant Farouk kibet was part of the delegation that accompanied the head of state together with the first lady for a tour of the Rift Valley that happened today in Uasin Ngishu. This being the first Tour that he is accompanying the head of state since he jetted back into the country.

According to an update by the president he today donated foodstuffs to more than 50 children homes in the county of Uasin Ngishu which is among counties that overwhelmingly voted for him during the August general election.

Ruto was in the company of several top-ranking United democratic Alliance leaders including the area member of parliament and the governor for the County. The leaders promising to ensure that ruto's agenda for the country is implemented.

The first lady on the other hand thanked the local leaders for organising such an event as saying that it was a season of giving and wear for the County government was appreciated for conducting the event.
