Although Nyeri is in President Uhuru Kenyatta's Mt. Kenya bedroom, Governor Mutahi Kahiga surprised many and left President Uhuru a sad man after he decided to join Deputy President William Ruto's camp.
As the country heads to the August poll, Kahiga has been causing pain to the Head of State, his Azimio La Umoja-One Kenya Alliance and the government at large by popularizing Ruto in the region but today, at least he left the Commander in Chief and his government happy after his latest move to urge his people to get Covid-19 vaccines.
Uhuru and his government have been fighting hard to vaccinate as many people as possible in order to curb the deadly disease and today, their work was made easy in Nyeri county by Governor Kahiga who called upon his residents to go and get vaccinated so as to curb the surging cases of Covid-19 in Nyeri county.
