Four IEBC Commissioners Respond to Chebukati Claims of Trying to Subvert Will of Kenyans

Four IEBC Commissioners who have distanced themselves from the Presidential results have now responded back to claims that Wafula Chebukati alleged that the four of them wanted to Subvert the will of fourteen million Kenyans.

Chebukati accused the four Commissioners of wanting to force a re-run.The four Commissioners have today said,Chebukati turned the decision of the commission into a one-man show.

One of the Commissioners has said,"He argued that there was no legal basis for the commission's involvement in supervising and verifying results received at the national tally."The Commissioners say that the summation of all valid votes attained by the four Presidential candidates were opaque since they exceeded the 100 percent mark. The four Commissioners have come out to say Chebukati lowered their mandate to one in which he was moderating them. The Commissioners have responded to Chebukati's claim of an attempt to Subvert the will of the people saying that at no time did they tried to moderate elections results but they only wanted a proper verification as outlined in the constitution of Kenya. Please share.
