Gideon Moi is one of the numerous kalenjin politicians who in one way or the other has his own uniqueness. He Is the last born son of the second president of the republic of Kenya and the current senator of Baringo.
He was speaking in a funeral where he talked about the recent riot in Laikipia and termed it as waste of time and resources as people should be engaging in activities that brings the development in the country. He further said the government should act on such cases which brings chaos in the country.
He also blasted Uhuru's government concerning the recent increase of fuel prices saying it burdens the local citizens especially when the country is struggling struggling with the Corona virus pandemic.
Concerning politics, he gives Hopes to the kalenjin community saying the presidency is coming back to their land . He said in his language that they are eying presidential seat in two eyes. There is no clarity of who he referred to in bringing the seat back. This is due to the fact that he is among the OKA alliance and he is not the flag bearer there so who could be. He might be giving hopes to deputy president William Ruto ? This has left many kenyans talking as he is known to be parallel with Ruto.
