Senator Aaron Cheruiyot has now asked Roads Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba murkomen to relook at the Expressway contract.
In the contract as argued by Senate Majority leader, no Kenyan has been allowed to work in any capacity.
Cheruiyot has now pleaded with the cabinet Secretary to renegotiate the contract to allow locals to participate in the contract
"@kipmurkomen You mean in this expressway contract, even simple, menial jobs like traffic flow control cannot be given to locals? This thing must surely be renegotiated.Too lopsided!" Senator Aaron Cheruiyot said.
The Expressway which has been under construction for years is only done by the outsiders leaving Kenyans out of the work.
According to senator Cheruiyot, there are those jobs which Kenyans can do which he called them menial jobs .
However, Kenyans are waiting for the cabinet secretary for Roads and infrastructure to respond to Cheruiyot's question over the Expressway contract and jobs available to Kenyans.
