Deputy president William Ruto made a grand entrance to Nakuru for his campaigns. He was warmly welcomed with entertainment before he addressed the crowd. A young girl by the name Dorene Cheptoo aged about 12 or 13 however stole the attention of the second in command and all the people after she presented Ruto with a wonderful praise poem.
In the poem, she referred to DP Ruto as her next dear president to be a thing that excited Ruto and team. She asked him not to worry what his opponents were saying but stay strong and focus on the race.
"Dr Samoei Ruto may I tell you this, some people can knock you by words, actions and silence but no matter how it hurts don't let your enemy win. May God give you strength and the capacity to overcome your enemies," the young girl confidently said.
