The deputy president Honourable William Ruto and his allies are determined to ensure they win the by-elections that are taking place today. Tanganga leaders' political vehicle UDA party has filled candidates in Bonchari constituency and other by-election. In Bonchari constituency, UDA candidate Honourable Teresa Bitutu together with ODM party candidate have cried foul over the use of excess force against them.
It was alleged that police went to Governor Ongwae's residents to disperse a meeting that was taking place. The meeting was attended by Kisii senator Honourable Ongeri and Kisii woman representative. The police said that they were sent to disperse am illegal political meeting.
UDA party leaders condemned the incidences that are being experienced in Bonchari constituency by-election. "... The kind of terror meted on UDA agents, supporters and candidates in the past and today's by-elections is regrettable..." Senator Millicent Omanga wrote in her Twitter account.
She used the kind of atrocities that are being witnessed against ODM candidate as a sign that the Handshake will end in tears. She wondered why the government machineries is molesting their paterner (ODM candidate).
