Azimio Campaign Board Explains Why Preparations Are Underway at The KICC, Deliver Good News to Raila

Chairman, Azimio Presidential Candidate Raila Odinga Campaign Board has explained why preparations are underway at the Kenyatta International Conference Center responding to claims that Raila Odinga might trounce the Kenya Kwanza Presidential Candidate DP Ruto.

Ndiritu Muriithi while speaking in an interview with TV47 explained that going by the current results of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission, the low voter turn put experienced in the Mt Kenya region was a result of the failure of the region to have a presidential candidate hence demoralizing the Kikuyu community.

"Low voter turnout in the Mountain was expected mainly because the Mountain did not have a presidential candidate for the first time in many years," Ndiritu Muriithi has said.

The Chairman Raila Odinga Campaign Board has said that they have high expectations that despite the low turnout in the Mt Kenya region, Raila Odinga will still qualify to become the next President of Kenya however informing that on the preparations underway at the KICC he is not aware of such like despite the Azimio team being the key planner.

"I am not privy of what KICC preparations yesterday would be," Ndiritu Muriithi has said.

The acting Laikipia Governor has said that Kenyans should not be worried about what is happening at the KICC grounds and that it is a normal thing that has always been happening whenever the country is expected to have a power transition from the old government to a new one.

"In the last two general elections, KICC has been prepared as the temporary office for the president-elect because they expect to receive formal meetings, congratulations, foreign delegations and get detailed briefings from heads of security," the Azimio One Kenya Alliance Party Leader Campaign Board Chairman has added.
