'Si Uchawi Ni Maombi'Juja Residents Defy Curfew And Social Distancing As Celebrations Rock The Town

After a chaotic day last night in Juja tallying center, IEBC made a major announcement in regards to the Juja By-election polls today in the evening.

According to IEBC, George Koimburi of the PEP party emerged victorious after he floored his close ally Susan Wakapee with close to seven thousand votes.

Moses Kuria and his team have led Juja Residents in celebration around the town, in a clip by the parliamentarian, residents were seen out past curfew hours, and social Distancing was a thing of the past.

With songs and dancing the area residents were heard saying that it was all by the lord's hand that they got a leader of their choice.

Kuria who happens to be the president's member of parliament in Gatundu south has been giving his Excellency Uhuru Kenyatta a run for his money political in his region.

The Juja parliamentary race was basically between two leaders, Susan Wakapee with the backing of the president's party Jubilee and George Koimburi who ran for the seat with Moses Kuria's party.

The win has been termed as a Hustlers Nation win with Moses Kuria being a close ally to the deputy president William Ruto.

The by-elections have been seen as a way of Kiambu people communicating to the president on his way of leadership.

A majority have been lashing him with a huge number opposing the contentious BBI report that has brought division in the area, he, however, seems to be losing ground as his people reject him
