If he wins the election on August 9th, Deputy President William Ruto has promised to establish a judicial team to look into President Uhuru Kenyatta's policies and actions. Something which Jubilee has reacted angrily to this promise. If elected, Mr. Ruto is also preparing to roll back some of Mr. Kenyatta's policies and has even hinted that they won't hesitate to pursue the President even after he leaves office.
Yesterday, Dr. Ruto's supporters discussed the ideas in detail and accused the President of manipulating state policy to his advantage; if they are elected, Kiharu mp further said the commission will look into this.
Kenyans have reacted to this with mixed reactions;
KingDavid: Ruto should initiate prosecution once he becomes the President. But he must start with himself.
Jeddy: In public domain William Ruto has for the longest time wanted to eliminate and inherited President Uhuru from being a kikuyu kingpin to billionaire to Presidency. This could be the last resort to eliminate Uhuru.
Naih: No nation wants a president with such an unforgiving heart. Ruto is dragging himself down because of this alone. I hope his manifesto focuses on more important issues now like lofty living standard, the plight of agric. sector which is the source of food & country's income in GDP.
