Jalang'o alias Heavy J, a Kiss FM host, has declared that he will leave radio in February 2022 to pursue a career in politics.
The breakfast program co-host told SPM Buzz on Thursday that he will leave the show on February 9, 2022, to focus on his political goals.
Nixon Korir now has the Lang'ata MP seat, which Jalang'o wants.
"First and foremost, my final day on the radio will be February 9th so that I can focus on politics; that is a transition we have already prepared," Jalang'o added.
Jalas also stated that he will stand down as CEO of his companies, including Jalang'o TV.
“Arena Media will have its own Managing Director and CEO; I will simply be a shareholder and chairman. I've already started training other hosts like Violetta Ngina at Jalang'o TV," stated heavy. J
In an interview with Robert Alai on The Audit, Jalang'o said he expects to spend up to Sh50 million on a successful campaign.
