'Life Goes On' Nelson Havi Hits Out at His Detractors Discloses Plans After Electoral Defeat

Former Law Society of Kenya president Nelson Havi has disclosed his plans after failing to clinch the Westlands parliamentary seat.

Taking to his social media pages, Havi revealed that after getting twelve good hours of deserved sleep, he is off to work. Furthermore, Havi implored Kenyans on social media not to waste their time trolling him. "Maximize the use of your time on earth before it stops running, and you become eternal," he advised Kenyans.

Earlier, Havi had conceded defeat in the parliamentary elections held on Tuesday. While congratulating Tim Wanyonyi, Havi claimed that the people of Westlands duly deserve him in their wisdom or lack of it. "For our part, we are content with the outcome," he added.

According to provisional results, Havi, contesting on the UDA ticket, trails the current area legislator, Tim Wanyonyi of ODM.

A section of Kenyans online congratulated Havi on his move. According to Samuel Kandere, putting oneself up for public office is a leap of faith.
