The counting of votes was finished today, August 15, and the results should be made public soon. The commission had previously claimed that it would be prepared by 3 pm, but it has since changed its original plan.

The announcement will be made at 4 PM today, according to KTN News. It is unclear why there has been a delay, though, and whether it will occur at the newly established deadline.

At the time this article was published, Raila Odinga, a presidential candidate for the Kenya Coalition party, had not yet been spotted at the Bomas of Kenya, where the other three candidates—Howe, Azimio la Umoja, and Howe—had also arrived.
