The presidential campaigns have hit a fever pitch as the frontrunners traverse the nation in search of support to bolster their chances in the forthcoming election.
A bruising political battle is unfolding in the country as 4 candidates fight for the presidential seat. Deputy president William Ruto and ODM leader Raila Odinga are considered the top contestants to succeed president Uhuru Kenyatta.
Speaking in Tharaka, Ruto told residents to blame Raila for the skyrocketing cost of living alleging that Azimio interfered with Jubilee's big 4 agendas. This prompted the crowd to reveal that they won't be fooled again. Ruto urged them to vote him on the upcoming election.
He promised to create conducive environment for farmers to produce more at a good market price.
Ruto said.
This loosely translate to, " We had a big 4 plan but Azimio came and destroyed it making our strategy in producing more food to fail. People have no food to eat. Azimio should be blamed for all challenges in the country. We are not fools and by August 9 Raila should go home. We will then reduce price of seeds and fertilizers and ensure there is market for the produce in order to eliminate hunger."
