Ntima east Member of county assembly has revealed shocking details about the whole issue of BBI in the Mt Kenya region. While addressing the media, the county assembly member has said that he was happy to have traveled to Sagana, met and greeted President Kenyatta. He further said that the BBI bill is a non-issue to the People of Meru and will not support it. That was a rude shock, especially to the supporters of the BBI bill in the whole country.

While speaking to media in Meru Dialect, The lawmaker was clear his message, that according to him, BBI is not crucial to the Meru people. That Meru people have more pressing issues that needed immediate attention. The Ntima east MCA reiterated that they respect President Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta as their leader in Mt Kenya, but they are not together on matters BBI bill. He will vote against it, He said. The Twitter message reads:" Mutethia, MCA Ntima East, Meru County says he was just excited to be in Sagana State Lodge and to greet the President. But Meru has other urgent priorities which do not include BBI." We live our President, but he should look at our Priorities "Says he will vote against it." That was the MCA's message.
