The former Nairobi governor, Dr Evans Odhiambo Kidero who is a resident of Asumbi, Homa Bay county on today, July of Wednesday 6, 2022 has been holding several Campaigns within Homa Bay county. His first campaign was done in Lambwe ward within Suba North Constituency.

After that, being that there are around 33 days left then the voters are electing their leaders for different electoral positions in August poll. Today in the evening, Dr Evans Kidero and his team accompanied by different leaders those on independent tickets went to Kijawa, West Ward within Homa Bay county to plead with electorates to vote for him as the next Homa Bay governor to bring the change.

Dr Evans Kidero blamed the current regime for failing to execute their mandates as elected leaders in terms of development, according to poor and impassable county roads being witnessed in Homa Bay county after devolution as compare to other counties in Kenya.
