Jubilee government has been in power for over 8 years after taking over from Kibaki's administration back in 2013. While campaigning back in 2013 so many things were promised; so let's take a look on what was promised and has been delivered.
1. Transportation sector
So far as the ten year term is almost docking , the greatest achievement that has been made by the government is road construction. Many modern roads and fly overs have been constructed through out the major towns and in the country. The country has even reintroduced the standard gauge rail way system to connect different towns throughout the country.
2. Education sector
The government has made some achievements in terms of improving the education system in the country. A number of universities have been chartered and so many colleges and training institutions have been built to help those who failed to qualify for universities to secure their places in the institutions. Free primary education and even introduction of online education with the help of advancing technology and training has been achieved.
3. Sports sector
Sports sector has been one of the many sectors which has greatly improved during this governnment. Thanks to this our country has been able to be recognized internationally especially during the Olympics as record holders. Many sports stadiums have been restructured and modified to compete with those at the international level for example Kasarani stadium.
4. Health sector
Health sector has been improved and new and advance health equipments have been placed at various major health facilities. Universal health care has also been implemented with each and every community now able to access a health facility.
Those are some of the achievements of the Jubilee government, however they have also failed in certain areas which we will be able to inform you of in our next articles.
