Raila Odinga, the presidential candidate for Azimio la Umoja One in Kenya, has been met with resistance from some of his friends following yesterday's Kamkunji consultative gathering in response to information disclosed by whistleblowers that he won elections with more than 8.1million votes.
Saitabao Kanchory, chief agent for Azimio la Umoja during the presidential election in August 2022, is reported to have ordered Raila to cease keeping his followers on edge by saying that the demands Raila has made are unrealistic.
"If Baba doesn't have an answer, he should keep quiet. Kenyans are too busy to play meaningless games "This, he insisted. But he went on to admonish his party leader that he should quit exposing Kenyans to dumb games with false optimism if he can't present a clear way forward for his people. After Raila Odinga said he would never recognize William Ruto as president or anyone nominated to his administration, calling it illegal, a schism opened out in Azimio la Umoja One Kenya.
This dividend in Azimio suggests that his staff has moved on and is recovering from the loss of the elections, suggesting that the time for politics has passed and it is now time to get back to business. Here's the link to the original article.
