Meet The Young Kenyans Who Won Various Seats In The 2022 General Election

1.Linet Chepkorir

Linet Chepkorir is now the Bomet county women representative elect following the just concluded general election in kenya 2022. She is know as Toto for she is very young compared to those known politicians in kenya. Toto is said to have been born in the year 1997.

Chepkorir who vied on a United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party ticket amassed around 242,775 votes to floor her close competitor, Alice Migo, who got closely to 42,171 votes. Toto is now the Bomet women rep elect. Speaking after receiving her certificate, Chepkorir said she is ready to take up the task and deliver despite some people despising her on the basis of her age.

2.Abraham Osoi Orikai

Abraham Osoi Orikai is the young and energetic member of county assembly elect for Matapato North ward in kajiado county on a Wiper ticket on the just concluded general election in Kenya 2022. Osoi is a graduate of KCA University and an accountant by profession recounts the hurdles he has endured in his political journey. Osoi is a 24 year old youth who has started shining in kenyan politics.

3.Cynthia Muge

Cynthia Jepkosgei Muge has become the talk of the town after flooring a powerful Jubilee candidate to clinch the Kilibwoni Ward MCA seat. Jepkosgei has Bachelor's degree in Planning, City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning and believes that Urban and Regional Planning is one field that has a great impact in a city.

4.Josses Lelmengit

Josses Lelmengit of UDA has won the Member of National Assembly (MP) seat for Emgwen Constituency after garnering over 34,803 votes. Lelmengit beat his closest rival Dr Tecla Tum who vied on independent got close to13,194.

Speaking at St. Peters Catholic hall after emerging the winner, Lelmengit thanked the electorate for voting him in and promised to deliver on his manifesto. The youthful MP said many youths have suffered for long in the Country due to lack of employment adding that his administration will ensure more meaningful projects meant for the youths are initiated so that they can uplift their living standards.
