Honorable Catherine Wanjiku Waruguru (Cate Waruguru) a vocal politician, supporter of the deputy president, William Ruto, and the women representative of Laikipia county, has vowed to support Ruto come rain come sunshine. Cate recently decamped from the ruling party (the Jubilee party) and joined the United Democratic Alliance party (U.D.A).
Speaking at Radio Citizen in an interview held by locally known journalist, Kamau Munyua, via a phone call, Cate Waruguru said that she will do all the best to ensure that DP Ruto becomes the next president. According to Waruguru, she said that Raila won't be accepted by the people from the Mt. Kenya region.
After the president was seen as if he is endorsing Raila for the presidency, Waruguru has blasted the relationship between the president and the former prime minister. Waruguru said that the president should look for a better person who will go far but for Raila, he will be tired very soon.
