While addressing the Residents of Siaya. Raila Odinga mentioned the 9 ODM MPs who met with President Ruto and his Deputy at Statehouse.

He dismissed Reports that the 9 ODM rebel MPs met Ruto to discuss developments in their respective Coinstituencies.

"Hao wanafikiri sisi ni wajinga sana. Eti walienda kukutana na Rais kuongea Maendeleo. Maendeleo kitu gani?

Kama mnapewa pesa za CDF na mnalamba zote. Mlikuwa mnatafuta nini kwa Ruto." Which barely translates to

"Those people think that we are fools. They claimed that they visited Ruto in Statehouse to discuss developments."

"What kind of Developments were going to discuss with Ruto? If the money you have been offered by the National government to develop Coinstituencies, you have eaten it. What are you are they telling us.

One month ago, a section of ODM MPs met with President Ruto alongside his Deputy Rigathi Gachagua at Statehouse. Led by the Langata MP Phelix Odour popularly known as Jalang'o and the Kisumu Senator Professor Tom Ojienda.

Sources are also alleging to this platform that President William Ruto is using ICT CS Eliud Owalo, Jack Ranguma and Evans Kidero to derail Raila's Political influence in Nyanza Region.
