Juja By-election Update: Another Win Loading, UDA Nears Victory(See The Margin)

Kenyans are eagerly waiting to know the winner of yesterday's by-election in Juja constituency. The delay of the results was caused by the chaos that erupted yesterday in Mangu High School, forcing police offices to fire on the air to disperse the crowd and safeguard the votes.

This led to IEBC chairman Wafula Chebuki to suspend vote counting yesterday, forcing agents, aspirants and IEBC members to take the night at Mangu High School where counting was taking place.

Despite the chaos that erupted yesterday, counting of votes has started well again with Moses Kuria's People Empowerment Party under the United Democratic Alliance taking an early lead.

According to the reports seen by NTV Kenya,People's Empowerment party candidate George Koimburi is leading with 10,853 votes and Jubilee's candidate Susan Waititu comes second with 5,112 votes.

This are unofficial results released after counting votes from 166 polling stations, out of 184 Polling stations in the Juja constituency.

"Juja by-election update - 166/184 poling stations:PEP candidate George Koimburi leading with 10,853 votes, Jubilee's Susan Waititu second with 5,112"

This projects UDA is likely to win the Juja election after winning another election in Rurii yesterday.
