Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya Alliance flagbearer Raila Odinga has something to smile about after Wiper Party Members called upon Kalonzo Musyoka to reconsider working again with the coalition leader.
This is after some 45 out of 50 Wiper party candidates voted for Kalonzo’s return to the Azimio-One Kenya alliance during a meeting held at a hotel in Ston Athi Resort, Machakos County.
Matungulu MP Stephen Mule who was in the meeting said that ODM leader Raila Odinga has been pressuring Kalonzo to join the coalition and drop his presidential bid.
However, Stephen said that the discussion on Kalonzo working with Raila was not the main agenda as meeting’s main agenda was to formulate a strategy to ensure the party bags most of the seats in the region that is Machakos, Makueni and Kitui county.
Mule further said that Kalonzo's presidential bid had not changed and after he comes back from his foreign trip he is expected to conduct a national rally where he will continue selling his presidential bid.
