Speaking in Nalani, Yatta in Machakos county over the weekend, the former vice president urged his kamba community to rally behind him this time round saying the only stumbling block on his way is president William Ruto.
In his tour of the region, he was accompanied by machakos governor Wavinya Ndeti and her deputy Francis mwangangi.
He Said Wiper party is still the most popular party within Ukambani having clinched the highest number of seats adding that the outfit should be respected.
"This isn't the same tribe of kamba people who are said to be cheap. Noting can now prevent Kalonzo from becoming president", said the Wiper boss.
He further alleged that all Luos are now backing him in his ambitions saying this is his time after having stepped down for Raila Odinga in the previous elections.
His statement has elicited mixed reactions from netizens with some opining that he May not get the support from the Luos as he thinks because Raila could vie again.
Papawetu: Here we go again. Kalonzo will be the deputy president or Chief CS in Azimio. Let's stop fooling ourselves here. Raila is the presidential candidate. Kalonzo needs to get his resume ready for dp interview.
However others believe Kalonzo's dreams are valid.
Rail: All dreams are valid including yours. I see a Kalonzo/Arati ticket that will level the hills in Kenya. Kenya. Bottom-up of Kenya Kwisha will be stale.
