Amani National Congress (ANC) Party Leader Hon Musalia Mudavadi has today broken his silence on allegations of him being a political project of the outgoing President,Uhuru Kenyatta.
Mudavadi has in his remarks reiterated his stand of vying for the presidency in next year’s General Elections stating that he is no one’s political project.
Speaking during the burial of Ezina Swadi, wife of Kibwaren ANC Party, MCA Jackson Swadi, Mudavadi urged Kenyans to critically analyze and interrogate all the presidential hopefuls based on their ideologies and what they stand for before making that decision on the ballot come August 2022.
He has maintained that he will not be anyone’s political project and that time has come for him to lead the country as its president, adding that he is not reversing on his vision of being the President of Kenya.
“In 2002, Uhuru and I were called President Moi projects. I don’t think Uhuru wants to implant a project in Kenya and I will not be anyone’s project. If you want leadership especially votes, you reach out to the voters, and that is what I am doing,” Mudavadi said.
