The UDA National treasurer who is also a member of parliament for Kitutu Chache North, Hon Japheth Nyakundi has allegedly asked the cabinet secretary for interior security Professor Kithure Kindiki to permit him to arrest Matiang’i after he failed to record a statement during the DCI’s summon.
The Kitutu Chache Member of Parliament has said that if the former cabinet secretary for interior security Dr. Fred Matiang’i is found guilty of misappropriating public resources, he should not be spared. He said that Fred Matiang’i used to humiliate them during his tenure and it was his time to pay for it. He said that he is not above the law and should be arrested and charged with the crimes he will be found guilty in. However, Raila Odinga is backing Fred Matiang’i.
Abuga Makori tweeted, “UDA national treasurer Japheth Nyakundi who is also Kitutu Chache North MP has gone full throttle on Former CS Matiang'i.”
