Nyeri Town Member of Parliament Hon Kinani Wambugu has openly delivered signals that he might work with Deputy President Willam Ruto ahead of the upcoming 2022 polls. Speaking during an exclusive interview with KTN News on Wednesday, the Kieleweke MP has reported that the region is now open for talks with all 2022 Presidential hopefuls.
"I have always time you that the only mistake that Ruto made was to disrespect his boss by trying to outshine him. Again unlike Raila, if Ruto learns to use proper protocols then we are ready to support him because as they say, he is also enjoying President Uhuru's political support.
"I'm not saying that I don't support Raila or am planning to dump him but what am saying is that if Ruto changes his strategies, then he will be luckiest man come 2022. Currently, he has been misled by the likes of Kangata and Nyoro who believes that Mt Kenya has no owners," Kimani Told KTN News.Meanwhile, Kimani Wambugu's message comes just hours after North Eastern Leaders via Ukur Yattan dismissed media reports and claims that the region has backed Raila's Bid. Addressing the nation via another report by the nation media team, Ukur Yattan announced that the region is free to form different political parties and that nobody will first anybody to support someone.
