The first phase of Huduma Number registration succeeded by registering 37 million Kenyans by the end of 2019.Out of those figures,20 million were adults and 17 million were children below the age of 18 years.However,there are some individuals who never turned up for the exercise.
The government through its spokesman Cyrus Oguna assured Kenyans of the phase two registration exercise which will begin towards the end of April this year.He urged those who did not turn up during the first phase to turn up when the process begins.
However there are some of the reasons why you should register for the card during the second phase in April for your own benefit.
It will be easier you shall be recognized as a Kenyan citizen if your details are in the system.Remember the current ID cards shall cease functioning as from December this year.
For you to be employed,you will need to provision of your identification documents is required by any employer in Kenya.Huduma card will be one of the required documents.
