After Studying The Ground, a Renowned Leader Makes His Way Back To His Previous Top Gvt Job

With only few days left to the next general elections, politicians from different parts of the country Kenya are seen running up and down campaigning hunting votes for their various elective political positions as MCAs, MPs, Women Reps, Senators and Governors ahead of the polls.

The presidential race on the other hand is not left behind as the political bigwigs who are eyeing for this top seat are also roaming across the streets campaigning hunting votes to inherit the presidency office from President Kenyatta who is soon retiring.

Among those leaders eyeing for this top seat, the Azimio La Umoja-One Kenya Alliance flag bearer Honorable Raila Amollo Odinga and Deputy President William Samoei Ruto of the Kenya Kwanza Alliance camp are seen as the top contenders.

This is due to the fact that they have made inroads for their political parties in many parts of the country Kenya making them more popular than other presidential candidates who are also warming for the presidency seat.

In Siaya County, the gubernatorial seat have attracted many contenders who are seen warming up to receive the baton from the outgoing Governor Amoth Rasanga who is currently serving his last term.

The Siaya County Senator, Honorable James is among those leaders campaigning for the Siaya County Gubernatorial seat.

The former Police Spokesperson Honorable Charles Owino Wahongo who had earlier been nominated to deputize Honorable Nicholas Gumbo for the Siaya Gubernatorial race under UDM party, had now withdrawn from the race.

According the Ramogi TV news, Owino have now gone back to his former police force to serve the government.

This will now force his boss Honorable Nicholas Gumbo to look for another running mate for the forthcoming gubernatorial race.
