Deputy President William Ruto made it clear a long time ago that he wants to succeed his boss President Uhuru Kenyatta as the 5th President of the nation. After making that declaration, he has been campaigning seriously in order to achieve that feet but in recent days, he has been facing plenty of challenges.
That is because other leaders like Raila Odinga have also started campaigning seriously while hitting the DP hard. Today, things were even made worse by Professor Makau Mutua through his official twitter account. As we are speaking, temperatures are high in Ruto's camp after his supporters were awaken by worrying news from Mutua.
According to the American based lawyer, Raila Odinga has already reversed in just 3 days all the work that Ruto did in 3 years. For that reason, Mutua feels like Ruto's supporters should lay down their tools and surrender because they won't defeat Raila in the 2022 general election.
"Opposition DOYEN @RailaOdinga BARNSTORMED for just ONE week and the earth parted. The Sugoi man labored in FUTILITY for three years, including in the Mountain, and then Agwambo reversed it in THREE days. Lay down your tools — capitulate — if you are still an @WilliamsRuto man." Tweeted Professor Makau Mutua.
