Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga on Friday 21st January attended the funeral service of his personal doctor, Dr. Olal, in Homabay County.

While addressing the mourners in Homabay, Raila revealed why he will introduce Baba Care in his government once he takes over office from President Uhuru Kenyatta should he win in the August polls.
Speaking in Homabay, Raila revealed that he will introduce Baba Care because good health is a fundamental issue in the society.
He said that Baba Care will ensure every Kenyan has proper health insurance program and those who won't pay will be paid for by the government under his administration.
"Good health is a very fundamental issue in our society. It is a human right and that is why we said we are going to introduce Baba Care that will ensure every Kenyan has proper health insurance programs. Those who cannot pay, the government will pay for them," Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga said.
