A few minutes after holding a press briefing today concerning the Eastern Economic Forum at Amboseli, Kajiado County, the Deputy President, His Excellency William Samoei Ruto invaded the presumed Raila Odinga's stronghold, Kimara town just within Kajiado territories together with a number of his close delegates.
Thousands of Kajiado County residents flocked on the roads as they gave the deputy president a heroic reception just like a king. They all joined in dancing and chanting the Hustler Nation slogans as DP Ruto's name filled the air.
His motorcade found no way to pave through the thick crowd and thus, the deputy president was forced to address the excited crowd.

Kenyans have now taken to the internet to share their remarks concerning the deputy president's warm reception in Raila's stronghold.
Some have assumed that the people of Kajiado received him out of respect as the deputy president as others argue that it's a political win ahead of the 2022 general elections.
