Translation: Makueni County governor Prof Kivutha Kibwana, has stood with his county finance cabinet secretary Mary Kimanzi after the members of county assembly table a motion to impeach her for gross misconduct and inappropriate use of office leading to delayed salary payment and allowance. This was after she wrote to the county controller of budget requesting him to stop all county salary payment.
The county assembly claimed that the cabinet secretary functions are jeopardized and they are unable to run the county government responsibility.
