His Excellency the President of the Republic of Kenya and commander-in-chief of Kenya Defence Forces, William Ruto is scheduled to visit the Technical University of Kenya on Wednesday 30th November 2022 for the official ceremony for the opening of a five storage building as well as laying foundation for the constructions of the two other storage building that are expected to commence before the year ends.
The president are expected to be accompanied by the Cabinet Secretary for Education Ezekiel Machogu alongside other political leaders to the institution.
President Ruto is expected to inspect projects the engineering students are undertaking and the engineering tools and machine used by the students.
He is also expected to discuss the issue of accreditation of the university some engineering fields, Electrical and Electronic engineering by the Engineering Board of Kenya and thereafter to address the vice Chancellor alongside the staff and the students of the technical university of Kenya.
