Amos Kimunya Tells Off DP Ruto Over His Attacks Against The Political Parties Bill Amendments

Kipipiri Member of Parliament Hon Amos Kimunya has told off Deputy President William Ruto over his attacks against the Political Parties Amendment bill to allow the coalition to register as a political party, issuing fresh details.

Amos Kimunya has informed that what should be understood is that since the bill is his, then he has the mandate of mobilizing like-minded leaders to support it rubbishing claims that there was some cash given to bribe leaders to support the bill.

"It is my bill, I have the authority to Marshall up the support of Members of Parliament asking them to rally their support behind the amendments," National Assembly Majority Leader Amos Kimunya has said speaking in a Tuesday evening interview with Citizen TV ahead of the much anticipated sitting on Wednesday.

Kimunya has said that what Tangatanga a group of legislators allied to Deputy President William Ruto is doing is taking instructions from their boss saying that "The Tangatanga are doing according to their master who is DP Ruto. DP Ruto is on the record saying that those pushing the amendment are conmen. The President is not a conman, the members of Cabinet cannot be conmen and if he terms them conmen, then he too is a conman."
