As 2022 politics is gaining momentum several political camps are being witnessed which has seen political temperatures raising.
Uasin-Gishu one of the county thats under focus as its considered DP William Ruto backyard.
In a move to tame the raising political temperature Kalenjin Miyoot council of elders convened a meeting that brought together all the political leaders in Uasin-Gishu.
Speaking during the meeting the Uasin-Gishu miyoot council of elders Uasin-Gishu chapter Mr Alex Mursi said they are aspiring to ensure that all leaders works together and in harmony.
"As council of elders we decided to call all the elected leaders from Uasin since we were not happy with what we were seeing, leaders attacking each other which is not good and might lead to war ahead of the 2022 general elections," said Alex Mursi.
The meeting the brought together the leaders from different political camps.
According to Mr Alex Mursi he noted that they need the leaders to work together even during the on coming elections.
"We are appealing to our leaders to work together ahead of the 2022 general elections and that we will not allow anyone to divide the residents basing on their tribal or political affiliations We dont want to experience what we witnessed in 2007 " added Mr Alex Mursi .
