With 2022 getting nearer, political leaders especially those who are seeking to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta have been holding a series of closed-door meetings where they streamline their bids.
Today Raila held a meeting with aspirants drawn from Kiambu county. The Azimio One Kenya Coalition presidential candidate was accompanied by Kiambu Governor Hon James Nyoro, Kipipiri MP Amos Kimunya, Laikipia Governor Mureithi, Former Katanga MP Peter Kenneth, and a host of many leaders.
During the Meeting Laikipia Governor Nderitu Mureithi accused DP Ruto of allies from the Mount Kenya region arguing that they are the planners of Raila Odinga's heckling yesterday in Kirinyaga county.Azimio's team has been finding it harder to sell their agendas in various parts of the country. Mount Kenya region is tipped to vote overwhelmingly for Deputy President William Ruto in the much-awaited August polls.
