Is The Presidential Race Between Ruto And Raila Or Mudavadi And Kalonzo Still Have A Chance?

The 2022 Presidential race has sparked a never-ending debate on social media platforms. Majority of the netizens expressing their views that the race is only between Honourable Raila Amollo Odinga and His Excellency Deputy President Dr William Samoei Ruto.

This is because the two have a huge social media following, supporters, numbers and resources across the country to propel their political narratives.

While other leaders like Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula have no room to blackmail Raila Odinga this time round to join their alliance or seek assistance from the Deputy President.

It might be difficult for Raila Odinga to climb Mount Kenya because there hasn't been even a single Governor from the region who has defected from the Jubilee Government to join ODM while a few Governors have ditched Jubilee to join UDA.

However, Mount Kenya might be a bit uncomfortable having to choose between Raila or Ruto. This might be because Raila Odinga has demonstrated that he can forgive and work with those people who have wronged him in the past. Ruto however carries with his bitterness and revenge and he might use his victory as the perfect opportunity for revenge.

Many social media especially Twitter have expressed their confidence and satisfaction in the way Raila has begun his race. Some are even predicting victory for him if he continues the Presidential race this way.

With Jimmy Wanjigi, Raila and Ruto running around the country in highly invested rallies, Musalia Mudavadi has remained in the western region busy calling out for press conferences begging Uhuru Kenyatta to lift the curfew. This move by Mudavadi has discouraged his supporters from asking why Mudavadi calls himself a front runner yet he wants to be endorsed by the President.
