Good news to unemployed youth as GSU, AP set to recruit 5,000 constables and cadets

It's a sigh of relief to many form four leavers and Undergraduates as the government through the national police service commission has decided this year to employ 5000 GSU, AP Officers and 300 Cadet inspectors. Many of them believe that there will be light at the end of the tunnel despite most of them criticizing the exercise of being unfair. The good news is that The Inspector General of Police Hillary Mutyambai has promised that all the possible measures have been taken to curb the vices .

For those who want to be recruited as GSU and AP Officers are required to meet the following requirements:

-Be a Kenyan citizen

- Be of between age 22-30 years old.

- Have obtained at least a D-(minus ) in K.C.S.E and above.

- Must not have any pending criminal charges of be convicted of any criminal charges.

For those that are to be recruited as Inspector Cadets the are required to meet the following requirements:

-Must be a Kenyan Citizen.

-Hold a Kenyan National ID

- Be a holder of at least an undergraduate degree from a recognized University/institution with a minimum mean grade of a C+(plus) and a C+ in either English or Kiswahili in K.C.S.E.

-Be age of between 22- 30 years old

- Must be registered with the relevant statutory body

-Meet the requirements of chapter six of the Constitution.

-Physically and mentally fit

-Have no criminal record or pending criminal charges.

Interested candidates are required to apply online through the national police website www.national police The exercise is expected to take place on 22 February .
