As presidential race campaigns continues to gain momentum with only ten months remaining to the next general elections, allegations have arise on how the deep state is promoting the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga's presidential bid.

Speaking on an interview with Citizen television, Nyeri County Assembly Speaker Hon John Kaguchia has rised new allegations that the government system is keenly promoting the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga's presidential bid, and it even go ahead to call the elected leaders in every region where he goes to get out and welcome him in his meetings.

Kaguchia argued that apart from pumping in state resources such as government vehicles like cars and helicopters which Raila was recently seen with, they also go ahead to call the leaders in every region he goes through the chiefs to attend Raila's rallies and welcome him.

"It is clear that Raila has a direct access of the government system than the One Kenya Alliance (OKA), that's why he is capable of traversing the country within a very short period while OKA are still stagnant. He is capable of accessing even government choppers and also the state calls leaders to attend his rallies to welcome him. Chiefs call leaders to attend his meetings for example if he was to come to Nyeri today, I would have already received a call from the chief to go and welcome him." He alleged.
