Kenyan Comedian Shows A Glimpse Of Changes Made Inside Embassy In Washington DC After Her Visit

The change of the presidential standard and portrait in major offices across the country and foreign embassies is one of the most noticeable changes when a new leader takes power.

This was also the case immediately after the retired President Uhuru Kenyatta handed over the instruments of power to the incumbent Head of State, William Ruto. Wanjiku the Teacher, one of Kenya's top comedians and public figures, has given Kenyans a glimpse of the Kenyan embassy office in New York, USA, eliciting mixed reactions.

Kenyans were eager to see William Ruto's new portrait, which had replaced Uhuru's portrait immediately following the inauguration ceremony at Kasarani Stadium. This has also been done in a number of public and private offices throughout the country.

We had a good laugh while visiting the Kenyan Embassy in Washington DC, Ambassador Lazarus O. Amayo! I learned a little bit more about Kenya's and the United States' relationship! I'm definitely learning a lot while having fun in the United States! When in America, stop by the Kenyan Embassy "The outspoken comedian posted on her Facebook page.
