As the government of Kenya Kwanza tighten it's belt to fight corruption following the release of contraband sugar by Kenya Bureau of Standard early this week, some senior officers in the government have bowed to pressure and have started resigning from their job stations.
Today morning, principal secretary in charge of correctional services honourable Easter Ngero have send a letter to the head of state honourable William Samoei Arap Ruto resigning from duty. This is after she was transferred from the ministry of prime minister to home affairs.
Speaking to a local media station, Ngero disclosed that there are some influencial people in government forcing junior workers to steal money from the government department on their behalf.
Kenyans online have reacted by urging government officers to stand firm in their positions.
