Nyeri Residents On The Streets A Few Minutes After Their MCAS Voted In Favour Of BBI

Nyeri County Assembly Just Passed the BBI bill a few minutes ago,as was expected the members of the county assembly endorsed the bill citing it's advantages to the residents of their Great County,Nyeri had conducted public participation where residents were given an opportunity to contribute to the BBI bill, according to most of the MCAs who voted in favour of the Bill, residents were in full support of the Constitutional change.
Nyeri falls in the Mount Kenya Region where the BBI critics had argued that residents were fully against the Constitutional change, many leaders including the Member of Parliament of Mathira Constituency Hon Rigathi Gachagua and Senator Irungu Kang'ata, Alice Wahome, Ndindii Nyoro and others who all come from the Mount Kenya region maintained that the BBI was not a priority at the time.
However, in what looks like a suprise, immediately after the Nyeri County Assembly members endorsed the BBI, Residents took to the Streets to celebrate the move by their representatives, the sang in jubilation as the lifted written materials in Favour of The BBI, Bill.

Is this one of counties that Sen.Kangata wrote to the president telling him that BBI is unpopular?.One should do a better opinion polls before making conclusion of his findings.He will feel ashamed as he see how jubilant people were after Nyeri assembly adopted BBI bill.
