On Tuesday morning, Luo Nyanza leaders who had a meeting with the president and his deputy the previous day, called for a press briefing to officially declare themselves as part of Kenya Kwanza leadership.
The team was lead by Evans Kidero and Jack Ranguma who criticized the leaders who are not supporting the governing party.
Mr. Ranguma stated that the Luo community will not be left behind and that the handshake with president William Ruto is not with individuals but with the Luo community.

UDA Secretary General, Cleophas Malala congratulated the six parties which joined them and said that their aim was to unite the country for future development.
According to NTV Kenya, Cleophas Malala has been advocating for dissolution of political parties in Kenya Kwanza that are affiliated with Ford Kenya, Amani National Congress (ANC), Pamoja African Alliance (PAA) and Maendeleo Chap Chap (MCC).
